Q4 2023: Dance Games Performance in France - Sensor Tower Insights

As the final quarter of 2023 came to a close, the dance game category in France saw varied performances across top apps on the unified platform. Sensor Tower's latest data offers us a glimpse into how these games fared in terms of downloads and user engagement.

Just Dance Now from Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a notable increase in revenue, moving from $637K in the last week of September to a peak of $1.33M during the Christmas week. Downloads also surged from 2K in late September to over 5K by year-end, while weekly active users more than doubled from 4K to 7K in the same period.

Ice Skating Ballerina Life by Coco Play By TabTale, despite minimal revenue, showed a steady increase in downloads, starting the quarter at 279 and peaking at 1K by Christmas. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from 464 to 1.4K by the end of December.

For Pole Star, produced by CrazyLabs LTD, there was no reported revenue for the quarter. However, downloads peaked in late October at 796 before settling down to 223 by Christmas. Weekly active users showed an early quarter high of over 1K, which then stabilized to just above 500 by the quarter's end.

Cheerleader Run 3D from Supersonic Studios LTD also reported no revenue. Downloads for the app saw a mid-quarter high of 572 before ending the year at 583. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 746 in late October and rising again to 753 in the final week of December.

Lastly, Acrobat Star Show - Girl Power, another Coco Play By TabTale title, saw no revenue until the last two weeks of December, with a modest $31K. Downloads had a significant spike in late October at 746 but then decreased to 523 by year's end. Active users showed a similar pattern, with a notable decline from 718 to 590 over the quarter.
